I'd much rather have a common house spider living in my home than a cockroach.
Cockroaches will roam anywhere including your bed. I've never found a spider in my bed and if someone found one on their bed it's not where they like to be. They prefer to be up higher somewhere in a corner.
I found a web with a spider in it and almost took him out with a broom..but I decided to let him be because I've never been bothered by a house spider.
He lived up in a corner of the room for quite awhile..I'd say for at least a year.
I'd open my windows every day because I didnt have a kitchen fan..I didnt have a screen on my windows either.
Everytime I saw a fly or some kind of insect caught in the spiders web, I thought..right on!!
The kinds of insects that bother me are flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches but house spiders have never bothered me and not only that..they are useful.

Can you talk more about the difference between spiders I have 2 in my bathroom on the ceiling one is smaller and web is near but not together with the larger one. It's right where my light is so everytime I walk in my restroom I run past the web 😑

There is this one spider that I have been dealing with for 2 MONTHS Ik it’s the same spider cus I walks kinda funky and always lands on my shoulder. I caught him today but low key don’t wanna kill him/her cus I’m kinda attached;-; do I just let it go? It’s a special from Australia so it’s invasive .😢 it’s a grey house spider.

I catch them and hide them in my room. All of my roommates would kill them on sight. Last week, a spider dropped and dangled down right in front of my face over the kitchen sink. My roommates didn't notice, so I took her to my room, but I figured she might be thirsty, so I put her on a little branch from the yard, and set it in the corner. Then I used a spray bottle to give a couple of the twigs a fat drop of water.

I still don't know what to do. Will central air dry them out? Are they going to die If I put them out??

Lol just let the spiders be🙂catch and relocate them back outside🙂I had a familiar female jumping spider end up in my room after a beach day🙂it had female markings so that's how I knew she was a female🙂I caught her overnight and released her the next day🙂she chilled out relaxing on my hand🙂she was quite curious and docile and seemed friendly🙂
