Having clean wheels is important to insure that your car keeps a nice appearance. But the main reason for cleaning your wheels is for preventative maintenance. Over time, break dust sits on the wheels and the iron particles (brake pad material, metal shavings off your rotors, etc) get embedded in the wheels’ finish. The heat and friction generated by the wheels makes brake dust a highly corrosive mix. The iron particles can oxidize and start to rust on the surface of the wheels, and they can eat into the coating and pit the metal of your rims!

Frequent cleaning of your wheels is the only way to keep your wheels safe. In this video, I will share with you the best way to clean your wheels. You’ll learn all the techniques, tools and products that you will need in order to have clean rims. And it’s actually quite easy!!

I've seen like 4 Tire/Wheel cleaning videos from Pan and I still find myself entertained.

I don't know how many different videos I've watched of Pan, or other detailer, clean their car wheels but it's always satisfying in some way to see the end results. As my car sits on the driveway, I can only wish I had a big enough garage to wash my car in during the winters.

I like the way you explain things step by step and more easy for beginners and enthusiast to follow. More power to you and to your channel Pan🤘🏼🤘🏼

Will you do a waterless wash guide for those who have no garage drain, no heated garage, no access to water inside the garage, during those freezing winter months?

I just recently found your page and I can't thank you enough for what you do. I have grown up without a dad or anyone to really teach me these things since I was 2. Thank you again Pan!

Just found your channel and this ticks a big car-care box for me! The fact that you’re from Montreal guarantees that your cleaning tips will work on my Boston car’s wheels. Some of the worst wintertime city roads I’ve seen are in Montreal so this is good stuff

Hey I'm pretty new to watching your videos and I enjoy them all. You should do a video on the best way to do a headlamp restoration 👍🏼

Yay, finally someone is recommending rinsing of dirty brushes before dunking them in the clean bucket, so as not to cross-contaminate! I found it better to Iron X the wheels before shampooing them. This ensures Iron X gets neutralized and its complete removal, as I found it stubborn to remove and smelly most of the time.

If only I’d have found this channel 5 years ago. My wheels are wrecked paint wise. Never knew about ph neutral tire cleaner. My factory painted wheels and calipers have oxidized and refinish is $600 bucks. Spend the extra money boys, cuz a dollar saved just might cost you a small fortune. Lesson learned.

I've owned a car for like two years now and I have been to a number of Car wash centers and believe me I haven't seen a single product that you show at any one of them. In my country here, we rarely get to see even a micro fiber cloth 😂 let alone all those sprays and brushes. Keep up the good word sir!

I love those hex grips. I apply a dressing on it, make a swipe or two around the tire then turn the grip and make another swipe or two. Turning it changes the contact points when it touches the tire. Maybe its not necessary but I feel turning it allows for more surface area coverage.
