There's a misconception that the Superlight's design is too safe or boring by large parts of the community. Professionals prefer it for its versatility, not safety. It supports various grips for different scenarios in games like Valorant and CS, unlike mice dedicated to specific grips like "claw" or "fingertip, " which lack this adaptability.

you are right for the most part that pros aren't forced to use their sponsors but zekken got a razer sponsor and switched off his wooting and superlight

Needs more Lamzu ngl :) although lamzu's shapes might be too curved for a lot of ppl including myself. Tachi when (tachi has a half glossy coating which is FIRE although ttc silver encoder is poo)

Overall, sponsors don't impact it too much, but individual sponsors do. Zekken had to switch to the new viper and huntsman. not sure what mouse he was on before, but he previously had a wooting 60 he as his keeb.

From the moment i first used the DaV3 i knew my search for a mouse was over. It fits my hand flawlessly. I am curious though given that there is a "smooth touch" version out now if and when will there be a white variant of the smooth touch

I think pro players from Apex, Fortnite, and Cod would be more interesting. Those games have much more movement and verticality. It would lead to more interesting mouse and pad combos

You will definitely need to buy copies of several different mice with different sizes and shapes to find one that fits you, just because you see a random esports pro using a specific mouse doesn't mean it's perfect for your hands and comfort nor will it make you an esports pro either.

For example the Superlight shape is EXTREMELY OVER RATED, I find the Pulsar X2V2 size 2 to be way more comfortable and more precise for me until now with the Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed which is the PERFECT ergo mouse for me.

I been using the Kysona M600 its got PAW 3395 Gaming Optical Sensor + Huanuo Blue Pink dot switches (55g with 2.4gh and bluetooth wireless connection) grip tape and an extra set of glass skates come included! for the $40 price point its an insane value! Its pretty much a G-Pro Mini. I Would highly recommend!

I think the sponsors have more say over what hardware a player can use when they are specifically sponsoring the player rather than the team. The example you gave with Sentinels being sponsored by Zowie isn't entirely wrong, but I believe they are only promoting the monitor. At the same time though, Zekken on Sen is specifically sponsored by Razer and is why he had access to a mouse before it was released

g502 is the best mouse ever made. Yes, it's heavy for modern mouse .. it's also super comfortable and the extra buttons are a big help for those that don't like having their melee on V or grenade on G lol

Nobody using the Pulsar X2 is quite shocking tbh. its a phenomenal mouse and rivals the top named ones like the superlight
