From Grimm Season 4 Episode 3 'The Last Fight' - Nick's power loss aftermath showed that the changes are far more than anticipated, Elizabeth, Monroe, and Rosalee look for the cure. Nick and Hank call on Trubel to help out on a case.

Can't recall if there was an explanation why most Grimms were women, at least in Nick's time. This may be it. I love how shows make science and genetics so interesting, even if in an exagerrated way. Unlike some shows that just drop it like, 'hey your auntie's a vampire so you must be 1/8th vampire and your OP because your grandma is 1000yrs old who made a deal with a demon and now you're the chosen werebunny'.

I like how there's scientific explanation to something as supernatural as Grimms and Wesen. Sort of a Best of Both Worlds kind of thing.

Combining science and supernaturalness is a cool thing. The forth and fifth cones were colored orange and pale red, one has to b the rare women the doctor spoke of and the other is seeing wesens when they emotionally woge or another purpose and combining allows it.

I absolutely love this tv series so much, I'm on the episode 10 of the last season. Sad that the show is done! It's amazing and I wish it never ended.

Can we just take a moment out of the scientific explanation and jump for joy at the scene where adalind and nick are connected... For all the Grim dreariness of that scene. They were connected... Ah man I love this pair so much!!!!

I’m currently rewatching Grimm and now I understand it a lot more since I am more mature and I’m loving it again

I randomly started watching this series again and I have to admit I didn’t give it justice the first time. I still enjoyed it sure, but I was too young to truly follow the plot or understand some of the references they make. Like the Deamonfeuer episode referencing the knights of old slaying dragons, there was also the Coyotle’s inbreeding, or hitler holding the coins of Zakynthos. Even things like Volcanalis having been involved in Pompeii went over my head back then. I didn’t even know what that was when I first watched this, but now I’m loving it all the more. It’s just so unique and the world they created is so intricate and well built. I especially love everything to do with Monroe and Rosalee and the more unique aspects of Wesen life.

One thing I like about this is someone gained a Grimm's eye, preferably through organ donation, then that person could theoretically see Wesen, they just wouldn't be able to do all the other physical things a Grimm can do

What is interesting about this is that technically they are using science against magic. If you could replicate that effect on eye lence you could have normal people recognise wesen (although being grimm has some physical attributes too like increased reflexes and strength)

I can't stress this enough. GRIMM IS THE BEST SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN! I watched it about 2 years ago on netflix (im dutch so there are different shows on netflix) and i fell in love with it. i've watched it 2 times and in the beginning of my third run it suddenly got deleted. I am going to buy a box set of all seasons for 55 bucks because that's definetly worth it

4th cone thing in women doesn't let them see new colors it let's them distinguish colors more accurately. Because you can have all the extra cones you want they still feed into the same 2 cells (which aren't mutated) that use a cone grouping (a pixel if you will for those struggling) to determine the color they see.
