I use this indicator sucessfuly for the past few months with two more indicators. My only frustration is the lack of allert functionality - as I am not a person that sits in front of the screens all day. If the developer can maybe add an allert on the dots of the signal line - that will be great.

Visualization Of The Indicator In This Video:

The short-term Xtrender is visualized as a histogram using green and red bars. Green bars indicate positive values, and red bars indicate negative values.
The short-term Xtrender value is smoothed using the T3 function, and the result is displayed as a thicker line with the color changing based on whether it's increasing (lime) or decreasing (red).
Circle markers are placed on the T3 line where the direction changes from increasing to decreasing (or vice versa).
The long-term Xtrender is visualized as a histogram with green and red bars, similar to the short-term version.

I think this indicator suffers from the same things as many of its similar counterparts. It mistakes current momentum for past momentum. This causes most of the signals to be incorrect. In my back-testing I noticed that when comparing two signal types (most invalid and profitable) the most invalid type occurred significantly more often. Most Invalid in my definition is a signal that is given to buy at the high of a move or sell at the low. This signal type on this indicator occurs frequently because the indicator will look at 3-4 huge bars and then get you into the move. But the move happened already. We see the same problem with the Supertrend indicator where it takes a significant move to generate a signal and generally the first thing that happens after that move is a retracement, usually passed the stop loss.
