Brother 8Mile, Thank you so much. I just won my first Gov Contract today. Small one, about 35k but I am now in the books baby! They have immediately offered me 4 more projects. That's a potential $140k in a snap. Bless you Man. Keep touching our lives. Your purpose is not for naught. Murica! 💯

This is one of the most genuine and motivational videos I have watched on this entire platform. I intend to break barriers in technology and media. I am the only entrepreneur in my family going after "the possibilities" as we know it. Very new to all of this but passionate to find ways to help others. Thank you for this vid!

You earned a sub. I became a contractor when I deployed as a soldier. I met contractors during my tour and got into the world of contracting. I recently left the contract and opened my own IT business which is a skillset that I have gained for many years. I hope with my experience I can do what you did!

From IT to road salt IS quite a difference and is inspiring to look at other opportunities. Good Work

Yea this is one of the most straight to the point no bs informative example story of how you went through the process . That’s all I’ve been looking for why does every other govcon YouTuber waste so much time with introductions and what not, speaking for hours without really even saying anything about the small details involved with contracting.

Great story man. I’m preparing to become a Govcon myself. I’m a network engineer and have about 10 years working for DISA. I carry clearances and am disabled. I will be looking forward to learning more through the weeks, months and years.

Appreciate your candor.

Derek, you are a go getter, I don't know you of course, but, I'm a mom and I'm proud of you as I sure your parents are. Good job.

My biggest thing holding me back is the concept of funding. I'm hearing that you use the contract as a way to get the vendor to net 10 net 15 or net 30 so you can fufill to the government in time. Once the government gets their order and pay you out, you pay your vendor.

My fear is having to put up the money and then being barred.
