Seeing other WRs ask and get north of $35 million per season(Jefferson, Vikings), $34(Lamb, Cowboys) and others recieving comparable contracts, is bad optics for Aiyuk and the 49ers. The market has been set, and sometimes you just move on from stalled negotiations. I believe a deal has to get done for Trent Williams, as keeping Purdy upright is imperative, moving forward. Hard to say how bad the blood has become, but skipping practice now begins to generate NFL rules mandated fines.
