This mic doesn't get enough credit for its background noise rejection. It's almost mind-blowing. I'm in an apartment and there can be lots of noise nearby: neighbors, squawking geese, traffic, even trains, but I've never heard any of it picked up in recordings. Not once have I had a take ruined by any of that (only ruined by myself, haha). Just incredible.

This mic handles EQ exceptionally well. I also have the brighter/crisper RE27nd but the RE20 can be EQ'd to sound almost exactly like the 27 yet you cannot make the 27 sound like the 20. I love them both and use them on my show.

I bought an RE20 from Sweetwater about a year and a half ago for my YouTube channel. I am forever getting compliments on the sound of my voice on the channel. and I will tell you I never get that compliment in real life.
