I feel people forgot this movie even exists. It's such a good movie, and why hasn't there been a sequel?! I mean I know there was a Netflix show for a short while, but there needs to be an actual sequel. Shrek 5 and Puss 2 are a definite must.

As a child, it pissed me off that Puss in Shrek 2 takes off his cloak and then the whole movie goes without it and in PiB the same thing, the cloak is only at the beginning! And finally they made it an integral part of his image in the sequel.

The sequel turned out just great, there were even references to past DreamWorks works. The only thing I regret is that I didn’t hear this magnificent theme of a hero, a fluffy chupacabra, and also a simple cat who lost his best friend 11 years ago in the credits ..

It's so insane to say Puss In Boots 2 is cooler than the underrated first film, but this theme just slaps as hard as Fearless Hero

I hear people asking why this wasn't used in The Last Wish. Most of it wasn't, but part of it was used as a motif after Death gives up. 2:09 I wish it was used more, but the film's sound and motifs are still so awesome, and that callback is incredible.
