It’s strange horrifying yet soothing like death itself knowing you can rest

I love how this can be interpreted in two ways:
For people who fear death, this is an eerie and terrifying sound to them, reminding them that he is near.
For those who are ready for him, it is a relaxing and soothing tune, almost as to calm the person down before he takes them.

It's all about perspective.

I love how the melody literally represents death, it’s scary, it’s calming, it’s taunting, it fills the air, it’s a warning, it’s warm, it’s cold, it’s suffocating, it’s mysterious, and above all.

Something odd about this whistle, is that it has a total of 8 notes, representing the 8 lives that puss wasted recklessly, the ending that feels it's "missing", it's that 9 note we don't hear because... Puss is still alive
