It was always in my mind.. but I was too young to understand or know the lyrics or the name of the song.. This song came out when I was 11 or 12 and just blew me away. I had never heard anything like it. I guess "captivating" is a good word. The synths to me are both beautiful and sad sounding. The bassline is funky, the beat is danceable. And that quasi rap vocal in a posh British accent which then switches to an androgynous tenor croon. So much going on. Loved it and still do!
