I totally agree… We used it on our last oven, and the glass door exploded everywhere. It melted mats, damaged the floor… we found pieces everywhere.
Besides it scared us from ever doing it again. The company did replace the door. We eventually got a new oven, different brand that has 2 heat settings for cleaning. We still don’t use it. Besides you still have to pre clean the oven, remove all the racks (I wrecked mine in first oven because I forgot this and didn’t know how to take the side racks out) and as you say clean all the ash out afterwards and you cannot get away from smell. Good advise to not use it.

Miss Pam, you probably have just saved thousands of people lives or health issues down the road by sharing this info., and saved Morgan and Morgan phone from ringing off the hook, because that's a lawsuit in the making against these manufactured companies, if I ever heard of one.
