Regular Kids vs. IB Kids

Okay so I'm adding a description because it has been 2 years and for some reason this has blown up and gained a lot more attention than anticipated.

Myself and the lovely people you see in this video were part of IB back in 2015-17 somewhere in the forgotten middle of Canada. When we finished our IB exams we planned an epic celebration night where we showcased this video. Our school had a small group of IB student, but majority of the students were under the regular provincial cirriculum.

Obviously this video is a joke and for entertainment only because we all know high school is a difficult time for just about everyone. So I really hope y'all take it as a joke and not seriously.

And to all the kids who are struggling in IB, watching this video and for some reason, reading this description--stay strong and don't let school take over your life. It only gets harder in University, but you got this!

When you're school has everyone in IB anyway so the regular kids don't even exist.

The real question did you do this for CAS?

Literally being full IB diploma is very stressful. There’s also people in that program who procrastinate (lmao me)

Regular student: Get straight A's with the easy courses and win lots of school awards and please your parents.

IB student: Get no A's and a range of B, C+ and C's with the difficult courses, don't win any student awards with the low GPA, and incur the wrath of your parents with your bad school performance.

The irony of watching this video the same day I had to run to class lmao. So I was about to go into one of the school’s building for my history HL class but I realized I forgot to check out my book, wouldn’t be an issue if the book room was close by BUT IT WAS IN ANOTHER GOD DAMN BUILDING ACROSS THE CAMPUS! So I gave my bags to a friend and ran all the way to the book room then speed back up to the fourth floor of the original building. Needless to say I had to catch my breath for the first half of the class

Mate, I'm from hong kong. I did the IB, it was a pain in the ass. Now I dropped out and will be heading to Cambridge, U.K. to study A-Levels. The IB is not for everyone.

Well I'm a "regular" kid doing A-Levels in Germany but I'm more like the IB kids

Seriously, I'm in the MYP IB Program and, well it isn't that stressful, it's kinda easier than regular school. The regular school is way worse than IB in my opinion, just saying.
