For the folks that already have got an iron and don’t want to invest in new equipment: instead of the ironing board you can use an ironing mat, which you can use on top of a table or other working spaces, if you want to even on the floor. They basically are like the insulation on top of ironing boards without the board under them. After use you can fold them up and tuck them away. Hope this helps:)

Wow I’m in NYC and even this is small to me but I love how you make use of all your space. Love this series ❤

that modular couch is genius & using your suitcase as storage is such a smart idea! :)

Finally a video that shows practical solutions for those of us who have tiny city spaces. I am empty nester but I have a large family who occasionally spends a few nights. The linens alone take up lots of room. Suitcases, bins under beds, etc. I really appreciate the minimal organized look of your space.

Even though i have a lot of space I enjoyed watching this and I love that this was actually helpful and not another youtuber who just wanted to show of their "tiny" mansion

1) Tension rods are rental-friendly and make use of vertical space for storage.
2) You could look into natural cleaning agents as well to reduce the amount of different detergents you buy. Most people only need three: baking soda, citric acid, sodium percarbonate. Vinegar, which most people already have, could be useful as well.

The tip to store items in your suitcases is GENIUS! I need to go stuff things I don't regularly use/need (such as winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter) into my suitcase! O.O

Great video! I live in a tiny basement studio and have to use all the tricks. I have and love those Ikea boxes under my bed. They come in different sizes and shapes but are all dimensional to one another, so you can stack them various ways together. I have big ones for sewing supplies and little ones for batteries and jewelry. I store my extra linens in my suitcase under the bed and the spinners actually make it roll out nice and easy. Plastic drawers in the closet of course - I have the ones from target that are about those dimensions but more shallow (I always lose stuff in deep drawers). Perfect for swimsuits, bras, makeup collection, and you can use photo Boxes from Michaels to divide them into two spaces. I've done this for stationary and medications in one drawer. I also have "higher hangers" - they are expensive but save a TON of space and I hang dresses on these by hanging them from the waist - basically folding them in the hanger like a pair of pants. Thanks for the tip with the blow dryer hanger, I'm looking that up right now!

I live in a one bedroom flat. My flat is a nice size but my bedroom is more of a rectangle shape. Because of the narrow shape a full size bed would have taken up a lot of the walking space of the bedroom. Thankfully when I mentioned ordering a bed my landlord suggested I order a small double. I’d never heard of a small double. It fits perfectly. The only thing is most linen companies do not sell small double bed linens. The duvet fits fine but the sheets are always to big. So I tuck most of the sheet on the side of the bed I do not enter.

Tension curtain rods could be used in the cleaning cupboard for more storage at the top. Might be a place to keep reusable shopping bags, a re-purposed box for cleaning rags, the extra rolls of paper, etc…

Thank you so much! I'm moving from 800 sqft -> 668 sqft and it's so helpful to look through this video. I'm taking notes now, I appreciate you!

I've been using those Muji drawers for about 20 years. So useful. Fantastic when moving house as you don't have to pack anything - it all just stays in the drawers. :)

Great small space tips! I recently bought a steamer. I also use my suitcases to store some of my off season clothes. 😊

Can I suggest using your fire place as a bookshelf? If you can make a high shelf then you can put throws on it and books unders.
Apartment therapy have a small flat series on YouTube and this give some ideas.
Excellent though.

To extend the life of your mattress I suggest a nice mattress pad. I purchased mine from Dusk. It’s deep and saves the mattress. Love your tips
