I'm really glad that you have made this cool video about the Cracow Dragon :) I am a Pol and that dragon is known by every polish person very well. I think the video is really good and I don't want to be the smart one here, but I can't resist, simply can't, to say few words about the name of the city. There are few probable genesis of the name of Cracow. One say that that the name comes from bushes that use to grow on the hill, second from the crows that use to live on the hill for a long time, third one comes from Krak - the prince, but prince and the dragon were there when Cracow was already a Cracow, so the bushes and the birds are more probable. The last one and the most probable in my eyes is the one that comes from Proto-Slavic. You need to dive into history of our language and understand how it was changing, long story short - preposition, ,K" with noun, ,RAKÓW" gives you Kraków - in Proto-Slavic - on the cemetery. However, Kraków was not an ordinary cemetery, but probably the main burial place and center of pagan worship, and the term Krakus was not a nickname, but the title of the chief priest of the Vistulan tribe. That's what I've learned about the Cracow's names genesis and I thought I could share it because it is interesting, just like all history ! And thanks for another awesome video :)

Man. We sure have some strange stories of old.

This story sounds similar to the plot of this early 80s movie called Dragonslayer, I wonder if that's where the writers got the idea from. It was actually a pretty decent film.

Visited Wawel Castle and the dragon statue today. Beautiful place and great tale. Reminds me a bit of the Lambton Worm tale from my neck of the woods.
