Hello. Really enjoyed your video. I would like to add three things you might missed/not known:
- In the Fondue usually is a little bit of white wine. This is not because of the alcohol (the alcohol is more or less vaporized during cooking) but for the taste. But f course it is perfectly fine the way you had it
-The Mountain mac n' cheese (Älpler Macaroni) come traditionally with Bacon strips. Maybe as a head up for people who don't eat Pork or Beef they should be aware of this. On the Menu in the Restaurant it is clearly declared. So check before ordering
Most swiss dishes are very heavy. This comes from the fact that they were eaten by farmers and they needed the calories after a long day of labor intense work. These days many things like Fondue are especially eaten during wintertime. Exception is the 1st of August, the swiss national day. You wont see many swiss eating Fondue in summer otherwise. And it can be a bit much for people not used to heavy meals, something to be aware of
