Driving mine. Just got new leather seats. And I recently put an engine and a transmission in it. I also did a boatload of work. Intake with performance chip, it’s pretty reliable, great turning, and for what it is the 3400 is pretty powerful. Like it’s pretty zippy

I had a 2000 black GT V6 4door. Head gaskets blew at 163k. My heart was broke and life set in while I was in college. I needed to go get my very first full time job for a car note. Absolutely loved that car.

I got one right now. It’s pretty fun even though there are faster options. I like the sound of the V6, and am looking to possibly put a 3800SC rather than the 3400SFI into it.

I have an 01 Grand Am GT 4D, only compliant is the plastic and glue in the interior, which wasn't held together very well. Other than that it's the perfect budget sporty car. The Superchared (the GT version is supercharged) 3.4 V6 can get you good gas mileage if you drive sparingly, or can get up and go if you need too. The engine is bulletproof. Great sounding car too. Leather seats hold up if you take care of them, AC is ice cold, very comfortable in the interior, unless you are in the backseat however as there is basically no headroom back there. Great car, handles well for an FF drive train, makes a great first car if you know how it was treated

My mom and dad bought a 1999 Grand Am GT sedan in 2007 when I was only six years old aside from the fact that we had to get the radiator fixed and had to deal with leaking head gaskets it was a pretty good car and I actually started learning to drive in it sadlywe had to get rid of it because it would’ve been too much to fix but that car was the reason why I had to have a sunroof in my next car hinting my 2014 Chevrolet Impala.

Driven for 3 years my first car ever she was red shown in the video coupe 3.4L V6 and let me tell youu she was a sleeper well taken care of but took off the CAT straight piped and that car made everyone break they’re necks would highly recommend! 1999 btw

I still have a 99 Pontiac Grand Am with a little over 103, 000 miles on it. I use the automatic shifter like it’s a manual, for the first, second, third, and fourth I’m always downshifting. I don’t go brakes very fast. lol

Just bought mine today, a lot sportier than my parents 2.2 cavalier but not as fast or as sporty or as pretty as my dodge ram simply because dodge is to good
