Hey - thanks for this video! Pep Boys tried to charge my daughter $75 to switch out her headlight bulb. Your video showed me to how to release the assembly to do it ourselves. It took 10 min and most of that was working the clips loose & getting them back in jusy right :)

Thank you for sharing this! Using this video, I was able to replace my Aunt's headlight assemblies on her 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. It is soo nice I did not have to take the bumper off! I have to take the bumper off on my car (Nissan Altima 3.5 SE-R) which can be a pain in the rear end!

Wow! THANK YOU! I am a woman who is NOT mechanically inclined in any way shape or form. I called Canadian Tire and they told me it would cost $60 to replace bulb in 2001 Grand Am because its "fairly time consuming". I was like "AS IF". I found this video and changed the bulb in under 20 minutes. Mechanic could probably do it in under 10 minutes. Thanks! You saved me $60

Just a suggestion on the top of my head here: Test the lights before installing the lights back in. Good video, works for me. Thumbs up.

Bought a new set for my '04 GAGT from 1aauto because of this wonderful video.

Would recommend marking existing headlights before beginning (I used garage door, putting a piece of tape in center of each). Even after adjusting the screws to the same lengths as old headlights, they were off. The outside screws adjust lenses up-down.

@passcindi1 It looks as though you would need to remove the rest of the cover (like we started to in the video). The you should be able to unbolt it from it's attaching points.

Thank you! I remember trying to take the headlamp assembly off of my '04 Grand Am and it was so frustrating i quit and took it in. Now, with your video, I can replace my next headlight myself.

@Pookatube You may want to check the owners manual. One some vehicles there are a series of things that need to be done to disable them.Hope this helps.
