I’ve played fps games on kbm for so long that I can’t press buttons as naturally as I used to. I got an Xbox elite controller and can use the back paddles for air roll and things like that. Works great.

PS4&5 Controllers have a higher polling rate that can actually keep up with high framerates which translates to more accurate or better "feel" of control.

I prefer using a PS5 controller over any other type due to the better grip and tighter feel. PS4 controllers always disconnect on me mid-game, so it's my go-to choice.

I used xbox controller for years and then tried PS4 controller. Gotta say the PS4 controller feels way better. Its much tighter and the thumbsticks grip really well which feels great with the very specific inputs you need to make

I still think its interesting that a ps4 controller has the lowest input delay compared to every controller. I use a ps5 controller which is close to the ps4 controller input delay but the ps4 controller is still faster.

Personally go for a PS4 PRO controller. Yeah they are like $100-$200 but in the long run you'll be spending more on stock ps4 controllers than just spending that money up front on a pro controller from scuf gaming.

as a person who tried ps5 and ps4 controllers, ps4's are better because the ps5's ones are harder to hold due to its design and its very heavy unlike the ps4 ones

I've been a rocket league ps4 player for years now and the main problem was speed flipping, pressing x twice and o and the same time was genuinely challenging, which is why I don't speed flip

I can only play on switch so I use the switch pro con but I love it so I'm fine with it being less optimal

As a kbm I can tell any is good but keep in mind a halo, but if you have drift stick is not a big deal just annoying. You can adapt over it, and feel it like automatic yaw-aerial. 😂.

But yeah, PS4 controller its because how comfy it is for this game but a ps5 is not bad tho. Kepp it wired tho.

i have both an xbox one and a ps4 and the ps4 controller is soo bad i dont really know why but i think the xbox one is better for me

I have rather big hands, long fingers and with the PS4 or PS5 controller I get massive cramps in my hands. I have played with several gen-Xbox controllers and E-sports controllers and for my taste, the Razer Wolverine Ultimate really worked for me, but once I switched to the Thrustmaster ESWAP X 2 PRO, it felt like I was given a whole new set of 'hands.'
