Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov is a Ukrainian-American thrill-seeking YouTuber who went ashore on North Sentinel Island and left a can of Diet Coke and a coconut as an "offering" for the protected Sentinelese people after traveling 22 miles in a timespan of 9 hours after he blew a whistle for an hour on his rubber dinghy with an outboard motor until tribal members came out from the woods.

He was arrested because the island is a tribal reserve, and it, along with the Sentinelese, is protected by the Indian government. No one is allowed to visit the island or come in contact with the tribal members. The Indian government are more worried about the people spreading diseases than a can of Diet Coke and a coconut.

Also, he tried twice before, but failed both times.
