In this video, we explain what side effects you might get after radiotherapy to the head and neck. Side effects tend to come on gradually as you go through your treatment and for a few weeks afterward. Some people may only have mild side effects but for others the side effects can be more severe. Side effects can include a sore mouth, dry mouth, taste changes, weight loss, dental problems, changes to your voice and hair loss.
