Thank you so much because my ENT/Surgeon did exactly what you described and found the small primary tumor and now I’m in oncology medical and radiology treating the bloom it caused.

Hello Dr Karni, thank you for your very informative and honest style in communicating. I (Australian) have just been to see an Senior specialist ENT at the hospital in Launceston just yesterday, and from xrays and examinations have found a large growth on one of my tonsils the size of a large cherry tomato! He has booked me in for immediate surgery, however with other surgeon ( in public system). I have complained of a foreign object that I 'know' entered the tissues of my mouth- (when eating salad at a cafe)-at the back right next to this tonsil on the other side. That was Jan 25, 2020. It was very sharp and fine to penetrate the tissues without any resistance. Unfortunately, telling this story to my GP and other specialists has made me sound stupid, and I kept getting derogative comments ' in their notes of an 'alleged problem"- as if I was imagining it??? After the Covid hitting in 2020, and paucity of professionals available in my region, I had not been able to have any suitable kind of procedures or examinations done ( not without trying!)until now, June 23, 2021. The findings shown to me on the screen with a flexible scope, show a large growth on the tonsil in proximity to where this 'spike' entered the tissues. I can still feel it as one feels a prickle in their tissues, . I will have the tonsilectomy along with the growth on Tuesday with a biopsy done with Pathology. I have also had a hard abrupt bronchial cough that has accompanied this growth over the past 6 months and cannot understand any other possible cause than to be associated with this throat growth problem. I am concerned that eventhough they will extract the tonsil and growth, that the splinter will remain in there and cause future possible damage ongoing? Although the ENT seen yesterday was reluctant to diagnose anything until after biopsy, he said I had a long journey ahead, which led me to reflect that in his expereince and wisdom, feels that it is a cancer. Would this cause my bronchial cough? I am quite afraid of chemotherapy as it does not sit well with my beliefs. I am concerned I will be put in a position to have to accept a treatment plan, that goes against my grain, yet I am a sensible person, just don't have much faith in the Do you have any comments and advice as to what to do? it is understood that you probably won't even read this as years after publishing on Youtube... but thanks anyway if you do...Sasha

My sister died 2 years ago from HPV Cervical Cancer. As for myself? I MAY MAKE IT ANOTHER 2 MONTHS. My primary is Sebaceous Carcinoma on my cheek. It metastasized all over my HNT very rapidly. In my lymph nodes.
You know what that means...

Had this on my left side I did high dose chemo then radiation with low dose chemo . I had stage 4 carcinoma with bilateral lymph node involvement hpv 16 positive. The tumor was posterior left partly in oropharenx and partly In nasalpharenex and poorly defined and they didn’t take the tonsil . Should I be worried? I’m also confused about hpv 16 as an std I always got tested at pap smear for all testable hpv and always came up negative across the board, I had 5 partners in my 45 years and it don’t make sense that hpv could hide in my throat for 20 years yet down stairs was never cross contaminated or infected. None of my partners had this problem either. My nose and throat didn’t sleep with men with out the rest of me and even if it did eventually because of mode of operrendi down stars eventually would have been contaminated if colingus occurred before intercourse which it does.
