I had a RZ67 Mk 2 with the electronic viewfinder so it was Aperture Priority auto exposure so it was virtually identical to my Nikon FE2. I used a 180mm lens on the RZ and a 85mm lens on the FE2. The main difference between the two cameras was WEIGHT!!! But the RZ was very well balanced. I mostly shot portraits and weddings using Fuji Portra 400 ISO colour negative film. The results ie. the sharpness were sensational. I used a tripod if possible but when shooting with a soft box or umbrella it was not necessary because the RZ like the FE2 had a flash sync speed I think of 1/250 sec. I have scanned the colour negatives and the results are superb. I had friends who used Kodak VPS in Hasselblads and the results were the same ie. both superb. Viewed on a computer monitor the scans and resulting images are as good as any digital camera today - I have a Nikon D7200 which is excellent and a Nikon D800 now but they are no better in terms of image quality, but auto focus in the digital cameras is great, ditto for the higher ISO capability and image stabilisation etc etc!

Great camera. I am working with a Yashica MAT 124 at the moment to slow down the pace with all the digital stuff. I worked with a Minolta XD7 in the past. Great review and photos. Keep up the great work!

This camera was featured in Frasier S10E06 as the Scheerblad-7X-K. It featured an ultra bright flash that blinded anybody in its wake :) I paused the episode and found this, which makes it cool to know what the photos would look like from the prop used. Cheers.

Nice video! I, too, love my RZ67 Pro ll camera. I'm beginning to use it more often due to the size of the negative (I love getting enlarged prints of special subjects). I always use a tripod due to its weight, plus, it slows me down so I can concentrate more before clicking the shutter. It's a great camera. Thanks for posting this video on the RZ.

I Love my Mamiya RZ67 Pro II. It's excellent build and with the great Mamiya glass it's a pleasure to shoot film. Unfortunately I had a problem with the magnetic shutter release button some weeks ago.. Fortunately I got help from an external camera service and within 3 days everything got fixed. And now the beast is back.

Some beautiful images there, thanks for posting. The RZ is indeed a great camera, you can use RB lenses and RB backs as well as Mamiya Press backs ( with an adaptor) on the RZ.
