Red sweaters, 100% organic mechanical tones, and bicep workouts? Yeah, I’m strapped in.

Hey man, that's what the red switch on the back is for, if you cover the red dot it will prevent you from double exposing a frame

Having been through a tough month of depression and not taking many photos (which is quite rare for the usual me), I think I'll pick up my Mamiya 7 tomorrow on the trip to San Diego. Thanks Willem for posting this, your video has always been fun to watch and at the same time inspiring.

Notes on the RB: you literally just turn the back to turn it portrait. No lock like on the RZ. also theres a switch with a red dot on the back winder cover the red dot and you can't double expose

I own this camera and the best thing is that it works fully mechanical, no batteries to worry. With good service they never die.

important tip from a long time rb67 user - make sure the mirror lockup on the left of lens isn't accidentally activated otherwise you'll get a bunch of blank frames. speaking from experience : (

Hey Willem, you do know back in the day, the RB was a studio camera...usually on a camera stand, many times on wheels. It wasn't meant for hauling around town. It was used in portrait studios.
That said, back in the day, I would take my boat anchor out for a walk to the beach, loved shooting the piers, the rock jetty, sailboats and the surfers with it.
I would take a half way decent tripod with me sometimes....one that I didn't care if it was messed up by the sand grains or the salt sea air. These days, I buy my tripods cheap at estate sales, and I still haul my boat anchor to the beach...some things never change!
Surfs Up !

Your use of the RZ is what led me to grabbing an RB, and it’s honestly the best camera I’ve used. Truly a joy to shoot with.
