RLCraft vs A Simple Man - Ep 19

The follow up to "RLCraft Gives Me Nightmares - Ep 1". The RLCraft Modpack for Minecraft by Shivaxi looked interesting, so I wanted to give it a shot. RLCraft is hardcore, unforgiving and brutal, but it's a lot of fun.

What is RLCraft:
RLCraft is a hardcore realism modpack for Minecraft (Minus all the mythical creatures...) RLCraft makes Minecraft incredibly difficult and you'll see that here, in episode 1.

In villages there is the library, you can find nice enchanting books in the chests. Also, there is a button in the library counter, press it, it will show a hidden chest.

Another thing, when you destroy the spawners, some of them give this stone called "heart dust" use them to craft "heart crystal shards" and those are used to carft Hearts, you can eat that and you will have more health.

Just a helpful tip for staying alive, plant flowers everywhere you live! Nymphs spawn from clusters of flowers. I have about 5 nymphs circling my village to keep me alive during the events and invasion from monsters! Also love the videos! <3

3 tips for you:

-there Is an upgrade in the farming menu called Green thumb, this upgrade makes that the crops grow faster when you are nearby.

-when loot a dragon corpse that has skin you should use first an empty bottle, so you can collect it's blood

-you should use your avian treats in a flying mob, this will allow you to fly with it

Farming tips!
1) Irrigation - When the dirt on the farm gets darker, it means that the soil is getting water. Water makes the crops grow faster and will work on crops that are up to 4 blocks away from it, so the best farmland (or at least most efficient) is a square of up to 9x9 with a single block of water in the middle. At the very least, if I were you I'd replace every other row of water with more farmland to increase your yield.
2) Lighting - Crops will continue growing at night if you make sure the farm is well-lit. This will also have the benefit of preventing monsters from spawning inside your farm. My recommendation is to place a nice looking block or two on top of the water sources and put torches on there, that way the light is as evenly distributed as the water and has the added convenience of making it so you're not having to go swimming for your crops after harvesting them. Some torches along the fence would be nice, too.
3) Harvesting - Wheat takes on a yellow hue when it is fully matured. For the rest of the crops, you can tell they're mature by whether you see the potato, beet, or carrot peeking out of the ground. If you harvest before a crop is fully matured, it will only give you back your original seed/root, which means you'll have to wait for it to grow all over again.

I'm not sure how far in advance these are recorded, but I'm willing to bet you've figured at least some of this out between then and now. Hope it was at least somewhat helpful. I'm currently stuck in bed with a really bad fever and this series has really helped make the time fly by, thanks!
