Professor nowadays are fearful to use their whiteboards. Instead they rely heavily on their powerpoints and quickly lose the attention of their class. Instead of powerpoints they should we called weakpoints! Shout out to you for keeping it interesting and thorough!

Mass & energy move from higher energy density to lower energy density region due to force field induced by difference in energy density. This field is directed towards lower energy density region. Therefore center of mass must be a place of minimum energy density density. In case of single mass, center of mass is located inside the mass while for gravitationally bound masses it could lie outside the mass. By same token center of all particles must also be place of minimum energy density to holds particle together.

The equation xw = x1w1 + x2w2 + x3w3... feels right, and I know it is, but I'm having trouble proving it. Since that's the basis for the "centroid = ..." equation, is there any way that you could point me in the right direction for a proof of that?
