I Stayed in an Amtrak BEDROOM! | Total Cost, Room Tour, Dining

In today's video, we tour Amtrak's bedroom on Silver Meteor 98 from Miami to Orlando. We discuss costs, amenities and whether the hefty price tag is worth it! Watch as we have breakfast and lunch, try out the bed and even take a shower to demonstrate the room's full potential for long hauls like to New York, which can take nearly 30 hours. Just was gonna say, the toilet paper situation. Yea it sucks. But they use that specific toilet paper to prevent jamming up of the system. If you use thicker toilet paper, it may cause jams, and then the toilets on the entire train will not work for the remainder of the trip.

Beautiful! Spacious! Wonderful! You and your Wife Adorable! You guys may not understand what I am about say. This brings back memories of the old I Love Lucy show when they took a ride on a train! Wonderful! My Grandma took my sister on a train trip to New York. My Uncle took my brother on a train trip to see the Cleveland Browns play in Clevland Ohio! Wonderful! My step sister used to go back to New York after she spent the summer with us on Amtrack! Wonderful memories of the Amtrack Station standing outside!

Thanks for doing this. I just upgraded to bedroom from roomette when they could not guarantee the roomettes would have a potty. Not running down the hallway in the middle of the night😱

Looked a roundtrip with a roomette and it was like $1500 for 2 people. Thats insane. Could fly for less than half that.

What train? I just traveled from Chicago to Seattle on Amtrak's Empire Builder. Wonderful experience, I would do it again in a minute. What was the cost of the bedroom? I didn't see it.

Excellent video. I have been thinking about doing this for years. I live in nyc wanted to go to fla n back, couple of questions if u dont mind.
Do they serve vegan? Also that shower looks pretty crappy with the flow, but the last room u showed with just toilet is there a big difference in price between that one and the one u stayed in? Also is there a common shower? Thanks alot for your time and these great

Dude everything there is tight especially the crapper for $500 I expect a little bit more space on the Never ridden Amtrak got to be honest does not look very comfortable
