The US isn't funding the extra production of arms. Nor are we restoring our old arms. We really just have warehouses of the stuff properly stored. Really it's mostly shipping stuff produced during the early 90s directly to Ukraine. We already spent the money back in the 90s to produce the stuff, we're not producing more of it. And we're basically saying since it would cost 20 million to make that, we say that's 20 million of aid. But, really it's saving us a lot of storage costs which are sort of not worth it for fairly ancient mothballed arms.

This is really worth noting given the whole talking point that "your tax dollars are going to Ukraine" when really it's mostly a bunch of stuff we have in warehouses and weren't really planning on replacing, given that they are very old tech. There's plenty of exceptions to this but for the most part it's the cheapest most effective proxy war opportunity since the Soviets were in Afghanistan.

Reminder that 2 years before D-Day, the Allies tried to land at Dieppe in 1942 and it ended in disaster. Even if the Zaporizhzhia counteroffensive didn't achieve its goals, it doesn't mean all hope is lost. I'll remind you that Russia lost a vital rail connection to China, lost more troops and equipment on the defensive, and suffered a huge defeat in the Black Sea. As Dieppe taught the Allies vital lessons, Zaluzhnyy's statements have demonstrated that his army has the capacity and willingness to adapt.
As Karl Von Clausewitz once said, "The Russians are not as strong as we fear them to be, nor as weak as we hope them to be". But one thing is certain: they're not invincible.

The 105 mm Ammunition of the Leo 1 has metal cartridge for the propellant, in contrast to the 125 mm of the russian tanks where the propellant cartridge is separate and the hull is completely burning up and because they light simply by a lost cigarette, that is the load, that disintegrates the tank.

Canadians are behind you. We'll work on getting our leaders to understand the severity of the situation and to take more positive action.

There was an initial explosion that could be seen on that ship then a much larger one later, so the first explosion was the missile and the second one must have been the munitions on the ship. The second blast was so big, few likely survived. It is likely as slipshod the Russian navy is that even though the ship was in a war zone, they failed to keep the watertight and blast doors doors closed, so the explosion went through the whole ship, then it sank immediately.
