I can't explain it, but this is one of the most emotionally driven songs I've ever heard. I've been listening to it for four years, and it just gets more personal every time, and I feel it stronger in my chest that this song just speaks to me on a level that no other song ever has. It's raw emotion in it's truest form, and that's honestly what I think music truly strives to be. Just heard it live in concert last night, and it just absorbed me. If there's anything I hope to achieve in life it's creating music with my whole soul and being behind it, and making someone feel the way about my music that Lauv's music does for so many. There's so much more to say, but there aren't quite words that make it there. If you love the song, you know the feeling. That's all.

we were both struggling when our paths crossed, he helped me with some things that i couldn't do and i did my best to do the same. we saw each other in many different ways, he was the one who made me smile and laugh so much in just one day. he made me bring out the best in me. but our life isn't always sunshines and rainbows. i liked him and he liked me back but i didn't know what to do, i'm still learning how to love myself, i'm still starting to rise back up again, i couldn't tarnish his image of me. i thought that i might become a burden to him too, being friends is enough, that's what i thought. i always ask him how's his life going but he'll just smile and will say, everything's good. how can he smile like that, like he's not feeling any pain? i know he's having trouble with his family, he's going through so much but he'll never tell me what's up. until one day he surprisingly backed hugged me, and after that he never talked to me again, sure he'd smile to me but his eyes has no tint of happiness. we ignored each other like strangers. thank you for being a lesson and a part of my journey, and sorry, i just can't bear to see you hurting because of me. i don't want you to think you're not enough for me. i don't want to fail, because you deserve someone better. i never got to confess to you and i think i'm never going to, but i hope you know i'll always cherish our memories together.
though we didn't reached the destination we wanted, at least we enjoyed our journey together.

this song found me when i was 14. 20 now and i will say this song was always there whenever life broke me down or lifted me high, I listened this song to celebrate sometimes and sometimes to mourn. I am just really glad that i clicked on this song 6 years ago randomely and now it has been a big part of my life.
