can we get a sequil or a prequil or a parallelquil, find out a nation state had a similar project in the works but rather than focus on the psychodrama focus on the fun stuff, it can all still go wrong, it is just such a fun idea 😄

Free will is an oxymoron and not a coherent concept. We have as much free will as we have dazzlingly bright blackness or perfectly square circles or harmless cateclysms. Ontological randomness adds no freedom (as in an agent/being getting to do what IT wants) and certainly no will, so... the stakes aren't really there to lose. I guess the only real stakes are the comforts of the illusion, which nobody who thinks about it for 5 minutes would have. Not to take away from the show; that the misconception of free will is so common means the drama is probably still present for most.
