I usually go out for a run with Runtastic. Live tracking with cheerings from friends at home is the feature that motivates me most to go for the extra mile!

technically not an app, but the tapiriik website allows you to copy your workouts from one website to another. I used to like the endomondo app, much less of a battery hog than Strava. With tapiriik you can sync both websites. Nowadays I’m using my watch, but TomTom managed to break bluetooth so bad that I can’t even pair my watch anymore :/

Is Heather's race number on the wall next to the bike from Ironman South African?

I'm watching from PE, the host city :D

the app Human, originated from the health question: are you getting 30 min of activity a day? By tracking the location and speed of the phone (data already produced by Google/Apple's location feature) the app shows the total of minutes moved and where, as well as time per activity (walking, running, cycling), discarding everything above 30 km/h. That will be considered as non-active 'transport' (car, bus, train etc.), which I believe is everything above 30km/h... which is a pity for cycling :P )).

But the great thing, there are companies and stores using this to motivate customers to be active and provide them with a discount in return, based on the minutes moved :) Similar to Running Heroes, but including activity outside of logged training.

Good list, and thanks for including RunGo. Try us out next time you're looking to follow a new route, or when you're travelling, or look for runner-friendly hotels that offer our audio-guided routes. Best way to explore a new city!

We have lots of feature updates since this video, for custom route creation, race features, and travel outdoor fitness. Let us know here where you're running!

Hi, could share a review on apps dedicated for triathlon training that would support not only running, bike riding but also swimming (via smart bands, etc.)?

Is running heroes available in the US? Searched it and can’t find it.

No, no, I search for another running application. I want an application where you can click on level 1-100. Level 1 is an old lady of 110 years old. You run against her on the screen and for example running 200 meters, if you run that faster than 1 minut, you can choose level 2 and so on. That would be an awesome application and I would get in shape in no time.

I use Garmin connect which auto loads to Strava.

How about Map My Run? That’s quite decent.

These are great suggestions for tracking outdoor runs. Do you have any recommends for tracking indoor runs (track/treadmill)? Strava doesn't seem to like being indoors !

Runtastic. Great app, I use it as a coach. The pro version is only 5€. I can do some interval training with it. 👍🏻

I'm about 5'8 and weigh 185lbs. I haven't been running in a while, but when I used this running app called "NRC" on my android phone today on my run. The app said I ran a 1.4miles in 8 minutes and 45 seconds. I suspect it's wrong although I was fast.

Does anyone have any recommendations on an accurate running app?
