We evaluate the indefinite integral of tanx using u-substitution and the fact that tan(x)=sin(x)/cos(x). Letting u=sin(x) will turn this into a straightforward integeral. The integral of tangent, it turns out, is the natural log of sec(x) plus C! #Calculus1

This indefinite integral holds a special place in my heart as It reminds me how spell my name.
