So, last night I saw Shang-Chi and while I loved the movie, it was a ton a fun, I was a bit disappointed that there was no DIRECT Iron Fist reference in the movie - I wasn’t expecting anything, but I thought it would have been neat to nod toward that part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we do expect Matt Murdock to appear in some capacity during Spider-Way: No Way Home and i know, i know - Charlie Cox said that his forearms are not in the trailer, but if they were his forearms he couldn’t confirm it regardless due to the NDA he surely signed, but anyway - after leaving the theater, I thought about it a bit more, and honestly there was a pretty strong connection to Iron Fist within Shang-Chi that is consistent with the lore of the television show. That being the mystical city of Ta Lo

If Marvel feels the need to recast Iron Fist, I would understand even though I actually like Finn Jones in the role. However, I would prefer it if they keep Mike Colter as Luke Cage.

Iron fist is without a doubt my singular favorite marvel comics character, it’s a shame how dirty they did him in the mcu. In the comics he has knocked out skaar, colossus, hurt the hulk, and knocked out Hercules with a BLAST…he’s actually a decent top tier.

If you notice the yellow energy from Shang-Chi's rings and I believe his mother was also a gift from the Dragon. It's looks similar to the Chi that the Iron Fist wields, which would make sense because it's both from Dragons.

If there's a shang chi sequel I'm 80% certain they'd bring in iron fist. However we got 3 iron man movies and never got a real mandarin until after stark died

Another reference is the conversation with Wenwu.

He says he has many names.

One is Master Khan.

That's an old Iron Fist enemy and a guy who was banished from Kun Lun.

Perhaps part of Wenwu's history, and the reason the people of Ta Lo rejected him, is that they know he was banished from Kun Lun already. This would obviously be in addition to his conquering ways as depicted in the movie.

I know this is an old video - they don’t need to re-cast Danny rand IMO, they just need to give him the right platform, right director, right script, and for sure I believe the remainder of the audience will form a bond

Blade cameo credits scene eternals, Matt Murdock leak (Spider-Man no way home leak), Moon Knight movie, Sony Morbius film coming out, Rumors Disney want Nic cage to come back for ghost rider, Black Knight eternals ending credits.

It’s seems like they could make a Midnight Sons movie! The line up would be insane:

Blade, Black Knight, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Morbius, Iron Fist and Punisher shit could even add in Scarlett Witch.

I say Iron Fist and Punisher because if they brought back Daredevil for Spider-Man they have a chance to come back. Their comic counter parts were also members of Midnight Sons.

Honestly, at the risk of being cruel, when I imagine Simu Liu's Shang-Chi and Finn Jones' Iron Fist teaming up I picture Shang-Chi kicking ass all over the place while Danny gets dogpiled by evil ninjas and spends a solid minute tensing his entire body like he has to take the world's biggest crap while angrily begging his fist to light up. That character seriously needs a head to toe reboot if he ever makes it back on screen.

It sounds to me like they're stealing lore to make the character more interesting and they're not so subtly trying to replace Iron Fist because the show didn't do well.
