My wife and I are doing f2p only at level 10. Just got my first 4 star in Fischl. And she got the ice cat bow girl. Both of us got stringless bows. Having a ton of fun so far :)

Honestly, I've spent a bit on this game myself. My rule is, if it's a free game, and I like it, I spend as much as if I was initially buying it. I spent a bit more than the base value of an average game, but I don't plan on spending more. I feel like I'm in a good spot and I enjoy it very much.

But yes. I'd say to everyone don't spend more than 50-60 usd on a free game. Or hell, don't spend anything. You can enjoy stuff at your own pace and still have a blast.

I've been there too bro. I've spent well over 5k on my steam account when I was into gambling CS GO skins. It's a real cancer. I'm gonna share this video with my nephews, so they don't make the same mistakes I made.

I've finally recovered financially though. It took a while but I now have about 3k sitting in my savings account with NO credit card debt at all. I remember the nights I had to go without dinner because I wanted to flip away more skins. I'm never going back there again.

It sucks all my friends have 5 star characters and I'm really jealous but since we're all going a F2P route it gives me more of a reason to keep grinding for free primogems and eventually roll it. I understand the gatcha system can be a very addicting and feel like you can't progress without spending anything but I'm really happy that the game is still playable without it. I'm currently AR35 and my party consists of Razor, Xiangling, Fischl, and Barbara (not the best but it's a huge improvement from my last party). It's great that Mtashed is spreading awareness but if anyone is scared you won't be able to pull 5 stars without spending money, don't I promise you will get one eventually. My friends are around AR38-43 definitely much higher than me and for F2P they were able to get two 5 star characters. Keep grinding for primogems! It's a lot more fun that way :)
