Just bought a used Mavic pro! Very excited to get it. You did awesome on yr first flight . I have an Idea 16 drone it’s smaller but I have learned to fly on it. Just letting you know your doing great and can’t wait to see more videos on how to operate diff functions.👍🏼😀

Hey Russ! I stumbled upon your channel recently while researching drones. I’ve flown the $50-100 mini drones to acclimate myself with flying a cheaper drone in case I crashed or flew out of range and lost it. Your channel content has excellent information and is one of the reasons I’m considering the Mini Pro 3 as my first high end drone. This must be one of your early postings on YouTube. It is both interesting and entertaining to see the progression in the quality of your YouTube videos. The was not at all a bad video, so don't take my comments the wrong way (it is far better than I could ever do lord knows) but your most recent offerings are so much better not only in terms content but overall quality. You have developed your own style and character over time and are much more polished and professional. Technically, your editing, scripting and the way in which you insert overlays or balloons into your videos rather than trying to look at video of a controller screen with glare and washed out characters is amazing. After watching all of your video yesterday I finally got a good 45 minutes of flying around my yard today! It was a blast just to get it up and about some. No issues at allas I was in beginner mode so I was moving around quite safely. Now I have to watch some more on the camera and doing some video footage. Thanks for showing us the fun it can be.

Thanks for the video. I have a Mavic Pro sitting on the dining room table. Had it for 24 hours and have read the manual and watched the Youtube videos. Had it start up 3 times in the garden, shut down each time and same as you don't feel happy so off out early tomorrow to a clear open space, just in front of the Atlantic so hope it's big enough. Slightly anxious and you hit the nail on the head when you said about the psychological side of first time drone flying. Well see tomorrow.

Thanks for video-most instructive. Can you tell me if "Follow me from in front" also has collision avoidance from the back of the drone? My hobby is riding a Recumbent Trike but a lot of bike paths are surrounded by trees which I want to avoid. Maybe it will only follow from behind. How close can it do this and at what speed?

OK, time to watch your videos again and take notes - and I still have yet to unpack mine but have now ordered a cellular mini ipad 4 with which to fly it. I think I've figured that this way if I have any issues, I still have my phone free to watch videos on or look up problems. I can also use it for weather or whatever and well, if it rings whilst flying I can see who's calling, call them back or answer it if its unusual and looks like a problem - my folks are getting on and it I do get issues from time to time. Weather forecast for Friday is typically British - cold, wet and windy, clearing Saturday morning with light winds so thats planned as launch day - yeah!!

Just got my first drone @ 63 yrs old and was lucky to have a wife that researched and chose the Mavic. Have been watching and enjoying all your videos and learning a lot. Based on recent posts around sub-zero weather, and the Twins cap, finally realized we are neighbors in Mpls area! I haven't had my first official flight yet, but am anxious to get a day and place soon. I'll use your advice on settings, etc. and hopefully will run into you some time around the area flying our drones.

Wow, watched your latest video and then ended back here for your beginning. It's nice to see. I just bought the Mavic Pro last night and got home after dark to try it out ;( I spent most of my day charging and updating firmware. As all of that stuff gets done I'm watching more videos before heading out. Thanks for you time and efforts in putting these together.
