But honestly I’m glad it’s forcing teachers to come up with more analytical and meaningful questions in order to prevent using GPT for essays and stuff

as a med student chat gpt is okay to summarize a concept but i would NEVER use it in an essay lmao

We actually discussed this in one of my medical classes, chatgpt will never replace doctors or be the sole source of info for them. Even if you cheat on assignments in med school, there are still residencies and tests that you can't use that stuff on, so any person who graduates med school and becomes a licensed doctor will have their stuff together enough to function without chatgpt. It will likely be a good resource for many though

Fortunately you can’t graduate with chat gpt due to updated practices every year and testing in front of a committee

I personally believe that medicine courses must be hard compared to others because someone's life is at stake, and we have to make sure that when you pass and become a doctor, you are indeed capable of saving someone's life. What I learned from a relative who became a doctor is that they have to want to become a doctor, not just for the paycheck but because its their passion to save lives and help others.

Dont worry guys. Being a doctor isnt just applying and getting the job. They test you in all sorts of things to make sure you actually know what youre doing before you get hired for anything

A heart attack is a life-threatening medical emergency that occurs when the blood flow to the heart is blocked, leading to damage or death of the heart muscle. If you or someone around you experiences symptoms of a heart attack, it is crucial to act quickly and seek medical attention immediately. However, there are a few things you can do in the meantime to minimize the damage caused by a heart attack and increase the chances of survival.

The first step is to call for emergency medical services, such as an ambulance, right away. While waiting for medical help to arrive, have the person rest in a comfortable position, ideally lying down. If the person is conscious and able to swallow, you can give them an aspirin to chew, which can help to prevent blood clots from forming and worsening the heart attack. Additionally, try to keep the person calm and reassure them that help is on the way.

If the person stops breathing or goes into cardiac arrest, you can perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately, as this can help to keep the blood flowing until medical help arrives. To perform CPR, place the person on a firm surface, place the heel of one hand on the center of the person's chest, and interlock your other hand on top. Press down hard and fast, at a rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute. After 30 compressions, give two breaths, then repeat the cycle until medical help arrives.

Remember, the best way to stop a heart attack is to prevent it from happening in the first place by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly, and managing any existing medical conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes.

Experience is the best teacher. Pretty sure doctors start out observing and learning post-graduation
