Mazda needs to make a proper rally version of this car. Mazda3 styling + WRX capability would be killer. Doug DeMuro said that Mazda is trying to reinvent their brand as sophisticated and upmarket and that’s why they’re not bringing back the “Mazdaspeed” brand, but even Audi makes enthusiast off-road vehicles.

Thanks for sharing this! Looking to replace my daily X1 with one of these and was worried the fun factor in the snow wouldn't be there. Clearly it looks like a hoot to hoon in the snow

The aero kit makes this car look so much nicer than without it. The spoiler alone is a huge improvement over stock.

Oh man I was doing this throughout this winter in my mazda and the rides back so much snow in my rims would be shaking my car 😂

I just had an idea, Mazda + rally= awesome

Very curious, they explicitly tell you in the owners manual to avoid this, that this particular awd system isn’t meant to have wheels slipping and doing so can harm the awd system. I own this car myself and am hesitant to drift it in the snow.

In my cx30 I can’t find a way to disable the stability control…

It either reduces the throttle or corrects my sliding.

Does your car do this?
