The REAL Difference - iPhone 14 vs iPhone 13 Pro

Apple's latest iPhone 14 seems like an S upgrade to me. Do you agree? With the minor spec bump in its performance with the same A15 Bionic processor as last year's iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 14 feels like an iPhone 13 with the iPhone 13 Pro's internals, minus the telephoto lens. But let's see what the hype is about and whether or not you should pick one up.

Instead of getting the iphone 14. I got the 13 pro for around the same price. Apart from battery, this phone is a beast!

I have both. One for work and one personal and I must say the 13 pro is much better in terms of screen quality and pictures. However the 14 weights 30 grams lighter which makes it more comfortable to hold for a longer time. I’m still more happy with the 13 pro, it was such an upgrade compared to my previous 8s

In my case the only reason i went for the 13 pro is the 120hz screen, I've been an android user my whole life and the last few years used 120hz screens so I can't really go back to 60hz, it feels like using an old phone even on the newer iphones, I just can't.

There's also something that should be mentioned about repairability. Iphone 14 base model can be opened from behind, which is more easy if you wanted to change battery and it should be more cheap for the costs

13 pro has 120hz and this is game changer. Camera is also able to shot macro photos.

For me I went from the 12pro with 84% battery to the 14pro. Battery is not as great as I thought it would be and I heard the AOD drains about 6% a day. I shut mine off to save some and test it myself. However, the pro motion display became old fast as I’m used to it now. The cameras are nice and video is amazing as always. The dynamic island is useless and gets in the way. Every time I try to tap the top of the screen to bring me back to the top I tap the DI and it pulls me into it. I will be holding onto this phone for 2-3 years as I did with my 12pro until they give me a reason to upgrade. Only did the 14pro because money is not an issue at the moment so I might as well spend the extra money for the 14p instead of 13p.

As a previous samsung user, I always missed having large megapixel on photos, having to edit without losing quality and having professional camera like photos. I immediately bought iphone 14promax and couldn’t be more happier❤️

Not a high tech person, but just want to upgrade from my XR. I'm stuck between upgrading either Iphone 13 Pro or 14, and just want something with the really good battery life, not overly heavy and is going to give me some longevity, as I only plan to upgrade every 4-5 years if I can.

Iphone 13 Pro seems to difficult to find in Aust, unless I get it online, but prefer to get in in a shop in case I need help/ support for it.

What would you recommend?
