I’ve been suicidal since I was 8 years old now at 31 Im happier and more alive than Ive ever been I smile now sometimes for no reason. Much of it due to my friend suggesting I read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle I combed and cried through that book for 3 months facing and accepting things I never did before and now my depression is completely gone I cant believe it. I also found a different job and stopped associating with the people who would try to bring me down. Prayer to Jehovah & Holy Spirit helps as well. I want to let any of you know reading this, if you are here this is your chance to not do it. I was in a deep place a couple of months ago, and I am so grateful God turned me away. It is not worth it, for all it will do is hurt those around you, even if you think there is none. Jesus loves you all and it only hurts when you do it. Taking your own life will hurt both the ones here with you on earth right now and those with you above in heaven. Jesus loves you and would never want any of you to harm yourselves. Whatever your going through, I pray for it to be better. Pray to the Lord to help you. Don’t turn to self harm. It will get better, as it is said that God gives his toughest battles to his toughest warriors. Fight through it and find Jesus. Jesus is king and he loves you all. Please don’t do it.

We are eternal spiritual beings just temporarily in this material body. We are not this material body and we will exist eternally. Killing this body that I currently have will NOT solve the problems, rather will just create a much greater problem.

If a person commits suicide, i.e., kills their body, they will not get another material body right away. They will continue to exist, and they will still have all these desires, but without a gross material, physical body to act out these desires. This can be said to be like a ghostly condition. This is a very unhappy condition and is worse than what a person might be going through now.

This act of suicide creates karmic reactions that one must experience later. Because this human body that we received is a gift. It gives us a great opportunity for self-realization. It is the vehicle for going back home to the our eternal home, the spiritual realm. If a person destroys this vehicle for self-realization, they will have missed a rare and wonderful opportunity.

There are also karmic reactions coming back to this person for all the pain that they are causing their friends and relatives whom they left behind. So, it is a tragedy from whatever angle one looks at it.
