NCAA Football 08 Rivalry Rewind (Oklahoma vs. Texas) (Red River Showdown)

Clashes do not get any more bigger than this rivalry in the Big 12 conference between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns, which is known as the Red River Showdown. Also known as the Red River Shootout (formerly) or the Red River Rivalry, these two teams first met in 1900 (Texas won this first encounter 28-2), and have been playing every single year since 1929. Since 1932, however, the Oklahoma-Texas rivalry game has been played in Dallas, Texas during the Texas State Fair. As of July 31, 2022, Texas holds the all-time lead against Oklahoma 62-50-5.
