The Overnight Guest sounds great! I also live in Ontario and love reading snowy books during the winter time ❄️

Hope you enjoy all your February reads, April. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new Grady Hendrix and the Darcey Coates especially ☺

I read what I am in a mood for and also trying to get my TBR down and read off my shelfs, so have recently read MISS BENSON'S BEETLE by Rachel Joyce and adored it: 10/10 ❤️ Started THE SLADE HOUSE by David Mitchell, the author of CLOU ATLAS and really enjoying the mystery of it so far 😉 It is only a small book, over 200 pages and I brought it with my to my holiday in Gran Canaria 🏖️

That is so funny. January I read How to Sell a Haunted House and Overnight Guest. Both really good.

I read the same all year round. My reading doesn't change with season or holiday. I like to read anything but romance or fantasy.

So fun! It’s fairly warm and dry out here in the California Desert so maybe some snowy books will be my cozy retreat.

All sound great, April. Glad I'm not the only one who prefers to skip the romantic fiction of April.

I am planning on reading a lot of historical fiction next month, but of course you would be reading thrillers. I think I want to give the new Grady Hendrix a try that one looks fascinating!

Fun video! I read seasonally too. Also you can tell what language that book is in by the author’s surname—Icelandic surnames have a distinct pattern. I can also tell from her surname that she’s female because males have a different pattern

As previously state I too hate romance. For February I plan on reading The Writing Retreat, Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi, Road of Bones by Christopher Golden and What Lies In The Woods by Kate Alice Marshall..I also have Grady's new book on audio. I'm awaiting the hardcover from Night Worms book club. Can't wait!

Yrsa Sigurdardottir is an islandic author. I am not easily scared by books but this I found very creepy and you will definitely feel the winter.🥶

Dolls are creepy. I watch a lot of paranormal investigation type shows and will never see dolls as anything else. Hope you enjoy your reads and have a great month.
