Light and Darkness Experiment | GCED | Object Lesson

Oil and water experiment in a water bottle. Used as a demonstration to show that light (oil) and darkness (water) do not mix but always separate, just as true ideas from God and the darkness of ignorance do not mix but separate.

Supplies needed:
Small water bottles
Water
Black washable magic markers (felt tips) OR blue or black water-soluble powder paint
Non-toxic oil such as mineral (baby) oil, vegetable oil
Duct tape
Plastic cups
Tablecloth or newspaper
