Not sure if he even reads these but you don’t want to do it in tpu, it soaks up the impact too much and won’t bounce you want something more rigid but durable like cf nylon

DO NOT put TPU in the ams, it can stretch between the feeder gears which can cause it to get stuck and clog the whole printer

You could use a less flexible TPU filament such as a 90a filament, or you could increase infill/walls to make it more dense.

Something I think people are missing: the airless ball isn't completely hollow. It has supporting structure inside that helps it redirect force into a bounce.

Use PLA + It bounces really good with that

Try increasing the heat of the 3D printed head so the plastic experience a sudden change in temperature making it more solid however not brittle

I remember watching another YouTuber do this model in several different materials, and if I remember correctly, they had the best result with a flexible PLA filament.

Wilson’s version has an inner mesh, you might want to find a design with that kind of mesh to make the ball more rigid, yet still squishy enough. It will probably take a bit longer to print because of more actions for the print head.

Use PETG as that’s quite durable but has quite a good bounce

What you could do is make the holes slightly bigger so the air friction helps it bounce more. Also make it bigger so it will bounce 2x highers
