I first heard this song playing during a reception on a rooftop in Paris... The view was on a sunset. It was one of those moments when you realise how beautiful life can be if you can see it. This song grows on me every time I listen to it.

When the Rossini video for this one first hit the IDIB blog, I was working long hours/late nights in a freezing cold warehouse next to the Columbia River. Every turn I got at the radio, I was blasting IDIB. And others. But especially IDIB. It just fit. First time I heard this track I must've bounced it across those concrete walls 10 times straight.

Not long ago I heard Shawdon and discovered Cherry and others too. Music is not to be heard, but felt. That’s how I see and have the music. I love various musical styles and collect them.
I am Brazilian, and my roots are of an intense multiculturalism. Brazil is a barn where different cultures, especially in the phonographic context, meet, and sometimes homogenize.
It is well known that our culture, in its most genuine form, is based on poetry, inherited lyricism and polished according to our way. Music is as metalinguistic as the noun "love".
But despite the mixed feelings that the music conveys, there are some that convey a feeling that embraces all the others, and these two songs quoted from Chromatics are among others that convey to me the feeling of freedom.
