Getting uncomfortable gets even easier when we know that humans can adapt to any situation regardless of how uncomfortable it is... Totally agree, if you want to shine then get comfortable being uncomfortable

I agree that everybody should be speaking because everyone has a specific and unique "window to the world that no one else has" (like Jeff Bollow said), and the world needs your unique contribution. Lewis, thank you for bringing these amazing voices to our attention! I appreciate you both!

I want to have a friend like her. Friends that won’t tell you where you went wrong for fear that the friendship gets rocky aren’t real friends, those are the ones that talk behind your back and say: “she said this and that. That was wrong! She is going crazy! We need to be careful with what we tell her”. And yet, those talking behind you back, are the ones that have a hard time accepting correction. I have been in both sides of the spectrum and I can tell you, I prefer the honest truth than the hidden hate. Of curse the truth needs to be delivered with love and compassion. By telling the truth you and your friend are going to feel uncomfortable, after some time she will return to you and be happy you told her the truth. Being uncomfortable is needed to get improvement. We’ll never be perfect at all things in this world, but we can practice a lot and keep improving our mistakes. It’s said that life is like an upside down school, you go thru the test and then learn the lesson. So you learned a lesson, but that doesn’t mean you will never go through the same test again, it will be with different people. Only when applying yourself to what you’ve learned is when you pass a test unharmed.

47:00 -- shows you the importance of being a door knocker vs. a window opener (credit to Ali Abdaal here). To get what you want, you need to go out and get it; you can't just open your window and hope it comes your way.

Awesome video.👍 I love your work Lewis. Listening to Luvvie's story inspires me to write again even if it is in dribs and drabs and regardless of whether it is successful or not. Writing allows me to express my ideas, my learnings and my creativity. Thank you. 🙏

I happened upon your Ted Talk this morning, and I have been smiling ever since! I turned in my resignation two days ago to follow my happy. I'm not exactly sure what all will come my way, but I know it wasn't coming when my cup was filled with the wrong thing! Thanks for your wonderful words! I'm ready to unlock the next level!!! (I've jumped out of a perfectly good airplane, too! And since then, I haven't come up against anything that I say I can't do! Lol)

She sounds a bit too anxious & excited about becoming famous. There's a weakness in that, because.. i met strong famous people who don't quite give a fudge about being famous, it's always like something in the background to them..
Thus, i don't truly believe in the so-called "fear of success", but it's rather the fear of not being judged, or the fear of being overwhelmed to the point you lose your personal compass.

What I got out of this interview to go for your dreams even if it makes you uncomfortable! I have always wanted to be a YouTuber and share my message of overcoming setbacks and people not believing in me. I have started and gained a little momentum on the channel. I just have to keep going!
