Another factor was that there were much fewer deaths in the past few years from influenza then were expected. That built up a large number of very flu-vulnerable people just in time for this pandemic.

Fear and loneliness are the greatest killers.

The cure will be worse than the disease.

Would love an update of this video now that there is much more data to analyze

I haven't gotten the shot.. I have been playing in a soccer league for an entire 4 months this summer since the reopening in Ontario. I've been seeing my friends and have been continuing my life as I normally would going to work and so on. Almost 2 years in since C news started, I have not gotten sick, and no one around me that I know has been sick with C with the exception of my girlfriend's sister and brother in-law who tested positive. Both recovered as normal at home and they were not even immunized. I went going through life without ever feeling worried at all from what I was hearing about C on the news because it didn't match what I was seeing outside. If C is so deadly and massively contagious like how it's portrayed it to be, how is it that non of my mates in soccer with over 100 people, non of my co-workers, friends and their families and my family have not been admitted to hospital for C? And that my girlfriend's sister and brother in-law went through it as if it were a regular flu while they had a 1 year old and 4 year old to take care of? Is it that we are all extremely lucky? I don't feel like it's luck at all, it just doesn't add up for me and it doesn't justify for me to go out and take a product that's being heavily advertised through fear mongering propaganda. Also taking into consideration that companies like *fizer and JnJ have criminal history that resulted in very high amounts of dollars in settlements but for some reason, this is not even being mentioned or talked about.

Could the excess deaths (over what was counted for covid deaths) have been caused by the strict lock down and individuals avoiding going for medical treatment for other conditions in fear of covid?

I’m sick with this currently. This thing is frightening. It is not a cold or flu. It’s not predictable at all

I had three cousins that just got over covid. One was 29 and two are in they later fifties. The youngest said felt like a super bad sinus infection. And the older two said they had some bad body aches and that is it. They aren't the picture of good health either.

That depends on the state. CO specifically said they are separating those who died from other causes with COVID vs those who died because of COVID

Since you said everyone is politicizing it, which seems mostly true, how exactly are you politicizing it? I've caught myself a few times but it was more of a reaction to politicians making bad decisions.

You reeled me back in Z... Felt like the channel was all over the place and this is the Z that I respect and admire. Welcome back.

Nuance and reason. The only way to approach an insanely complex issue such as we are dealing with currently.

You have to look at the past 30 years to get an accurate picture of death rates and cycles; and most importantly you have to have accurate data; therein lies the problem.

You also stopped nearly all elective surgery in nearly all states and reduced other treatment availability on a large scale and this included waiting times to see a typical GP.

What is the excess deaths for calendar year 2020 vs. 2019?

Last flu season, Minnesota had 470 flu deaths. This season, only 95. Obviously 300 or 400 flu deaths were counted as covid.

Excess deaths? Possibly as a result of shutdown? Depression, heart disease from less exercise, suicide.

We are not over reporting. I’m a clinical analyst. Many deaths, the person never had a test so their is no mention of COVID. Yet, the other diagnosis are so similar to what COVID labeled patients had.
Until we start much more testing (including those who have expired) I estimate we are under reporting at least 30% on the mortality count.

We are undercounting deaths, but we are *also* overcounting deaths. If you are known to be infected, a case is created. If you then get hit by a bus, in many regions that's counted as a coronavirus death because that the only possible outcomes are "recovery" or "death". In short our data collection just isn't that good and that's a problem.
