China: Country reports around 60,000 Covid deaths, claims peak is over | Latest World News | WION

In the month since the country abandoned its tight "zero Covid" policy, China said on Saturday that it had reported about 60,000 fatalities connected to the coronavirus, accelerating an outbreak that is thought to have infected millions of people. The admission marked a significant increase in the official death toll and was the first time China had offered a measure of the Covid wave that is currently sweeping the nation.

I guarantee you it's at least more like 160k/week. The hospital capacity for china is around 4.5/1000 people, which is around more than 5 million, and the hospitals are shown to be overloaded. Though there are more remote areas where hospitals arent necessarily full, the fact that the major hospitals, which in theory holds a far greater number of patients, are shown to be almost exponentially overloaded, making the assumption of around 5 million hospital present cases more valid, the other half million cases considered for pregnancy or other sicknesses. Now consider the death rate and the patients. Given Chinas circumstances, it's obvious that the objective of these hospitals is to treat actual severe cases, and severe covid symptoms on average occur and end in a 10 day window. The mortality rate of severe covid is around 5%, which would equate to around 250k hospital deaths within ten days and 25k/day.

And this is honestly a relatively optimistic estimate, considering China's drastic decrease in overall immunity after quarantine, their bogus vaccines, and the nurses being quantitatively overwhelmed and subsequently have to lower their qualitative performance in treating patients.

The values given by the chinese government are almost arbitrary at this point and lacks reasoning. Intuition tells me its probably double of 25k deaths/day.

Small number and 90.1% died after chertain age 65+ and have underlying conditions.. 900million is infected. No new strains. XI behavoir is right now. Travel restrictions we need max. one month. No signifant increase in Hongkong, Singapoure who is not testing.
