I keep them in the pantry. If you keep them in the trashcan and your bag leaks...then you've got a mess.

Yeah, I just put the box in a lower cabinet and take a bag from the box when I need it. Not a big deal for me. 😆

I put them in the freezer to keep them fresh. Naw I'm kidding, they go in the bottom of the trash can.

I didn't know this was an issue!
Mine are under the kitchen sink, in the box they came in, standing on end. I reach in, grab a bag, pull it out of the box, and put it in the can🤷‍♀️ - No issues, they just kinda hang out in there until needed.

The ONLY time that is OK is if your spouse goes crazy with a labeler and puts a sticker on the bottom that reads, paper towels.

Lol. I just keep them in the box. If your box takes up that much room let's be honest it's probably other things taking up space.

I put a few in the garbage can, some extra under the sink, and the remainder in the cabinet in the garage as I buy in bulk. I don't leave all of them in the trash can (1) in case it leaks and (2) in case I need them for a different purpose or in different place. Sometimes people take things too far ... Thinking "Pinterest" pantries and refrigerators as additional examples.

I keep my bags at my ex-wife's house in the her garage in the bottom drawer of her Snap-On tool chest

I put several bags in the can at once. When I take out the full bag, there is already an empty one in place 🤷🏻‍♀️
