'Why Should We Doubt Police?': Delhi HC Dismisses PIL Seeking CBI Probe In Shraddha Murder Case

The Delhi High Court today dismissed a public interest litigation seeking transfer of probe in the Shraddha Walkar murder case from the Delhi Police to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
A division bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad observed with dismay today that the case filed by the concerned lawyer is nothing more than a "publicity interest litigation". The Bench also said that it will impose cost on the petitioner.

Good that Judiciary taking some good move, Proof is ready available. Once the case in front of judges, I believe they declare hanging asap inspite of wasting people's tax money ...

It's indeed barbarism pertains commission of the murder of innocent girl indeed investigation is basic requirement of law to handed down capital punishment to accused, investigation is competetent & independent mode to stretch the chain of incriminatory piece of evidence link accused with substance used by him to strangulate innocent girl as more of this above all investigation is done in such a transparent manner to leave no lucna & infirmity which could created iota question in defence favouring accused, it settled law judges judge in light of evidence to pass judgement whereas investigation is sole prerogative of police officer to go through all angles of how & in manner what, time & place what crime was committed besides this what motivated the accused to commit this brutal & desperte crime of eliminating such life she was nearest & dearest to him, was it question of psycho element, were it revenge, greed infidelity of accused.. It seeks to be carried out from all four corners..
