Just so everyone knows, it is state farms stance here in Georgia that if you are not physically injured but your car is completely totaled by a negligent driver they do not compensate you for any loss wages from lack of being able to get to work. Their insured driver hit and run our car while it was parked at our house. I used the parts they left behind to locate them. Called the cops and the driver admitted to everything after 3 separate trips of not answering the door. She even tried to hide the car. This happened at 4am on a Saturday morning a couple weeks ago. We didn't get the drivers insurance info until that Monday and went Saturday, Sunday, and most of Monday with no car. I was told by state farm they will not pay for any loss wages due to this since I was not physically injured. All I can do now is let people know what state farm is saying in this situation and how they treat victims. Not trying to get 1000s from them. Just trying to get back what I lost. Insurance companies are supposed to be there for these type situations and state farm is letting people down.

Like a good neighbor was State Farm there? Absolutely not! Their reaction to my question about where to go from where I was at with my renters insurance was being put on hold. Their (State Farm's) reason for being put on hold? Lots of assistance using up their time, in another State because they had hurricanes and that was their reason for not being able to help me at the time I needed them most. Is this a poor excuse? I thought so.
